In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Jarvis was the AI developed by Tony Stark and was an acronym which stood for Just A Rather Very Intelligent System. However, in the comic-books, he was the actual butler of Tony Stark and the caretaker of the Avengers building, which was hinted in the end of Avengers to be the Stark Tower. The name of the butler is Edwin Jarvis.
USA Today and Bleeding Cool have confirmed that War Machine will appear in Avengers: Age of Ultron and that he will have an important role in the battle with the A.I. known as Ultron. Furthermore, Bleeding Cool as unearthed another detail, which states that Edwin Jarvis the butler will make his appearance and will be played by Simon McBurney, who is known for his role in Tinker Taylor Soldier Spy.
Of course, this new detail will give course to other rumors, which already said that, eventually, Jarvis the A.I. becomes Ultron.
For now, Avengers: Age of Ultron is known to star Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Cobie Smulders, Jeremy Renner, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Samuel L. Jackson, and James Spader. The movie is directed by Joss Whedon is and will be released on the 1st of May 2015.
