After Marvel Studios president of production Kevin Fergie said that there is
development of a Black Panther Movie, comic icon Stan Lee has confirmed that
indeed Marvel Studios will be doing a Black Panther movie.

“Pretty soon, we’re going to do a movie called the Black Panther,” said Lee.
While development of a Black Panther movie is not news, as it has been heard
over the years, the reports from two insiders in the Marvel Studios can not be
taken lightly. So probably, there is a Black Panther movie in the horizon.
According to Lee, a Black Panther movie is one thing that the studio has been
planning for a while now. While Stan Lee is not involved in the production
decisions as Fergie is, he is so close to the ‘decision kitchen’ and can hear a lot
of things. His statement confirms that presently there’s a little more seriousness
in the course.
The Marvel comic icon was talking to TMZ about Comicbook.com’s scoop that he
wanted to feature in Batman Vs. Superman. Other than aforementioned
stories, he also discussed Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., the Marvel’s new TV show.
During the discussion, the TMZ reporter was of the opinion that the new show was
contentious as it had only blacks on the wrong side. It is on this line that Lee introduced the
Black Panther movie, after he was asked when the TV show will have a black hero.
